Portkey Games has announced that the upcoming Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy, has been pushed back to 2022.

They made their announcement through the Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account. The reason given for this delay is to apparently create the best gaming experience for fans.

The game was originally set to come out this year and would be an open-world action RPG taking place in the Wizarding World. You can (re)watch the trailer of Hogwarts Legacy here.
