According to the popular video game awards website thegameawards, the critically acclaimed The Last of Us Part 2 has become the most awarded game in history. The game managed to secure a total of 261 awards last year to earn this spot.

Previously, this title was held by CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt with 260 awards.

Furthermore, The Last of Us Part 2 is currently the most nominated game for multiple categories at DICE Awards as well.
