Netflix has announced a Tomb Raider animated series. The series will be produced in a team up with movie studio, Legendary.

The streaming service tweeted that the series will be part of the story being told in the most recent trilogy of games; Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018).

Netflix has previously adapted Castlevania into an animated series, which currently sits at an 8.2/10 on IMDb and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Netflix is also working on an animated series based on the Devil May Cry games.
