miHoYo has announced that “All That Glitters” version update 1.3 will go live across all the platforms for the game on Wednesday, this week.

In order to get ready for this update, developers have advised the players to use the pre-installation function to download and install the update files before the maintenance period. The estimated file size for the update on PC is 8GB, 2.2GB on Android and 1.40GB on iOS.

With the 1.3 update there are a lot of new content being added to the base game along with one of the most anticipated and desired / hyped characters finally making his way into Genshin Impact.

The first character banner of 1.3 gives us “The Invitation to Mundane Life” with the “Vigilant Yaksha” Xiao, 5* anemo alongside 4* characters Diona, Beidou and Xinyan. Another event-exclusive banner “Dance of Lanterns” will feature the 5* character Keqing and four star characters Ningguang, Bennett and Barbara.

The developers also highlighted in the Update Notice that there will be more events following the 1.3 update.

As a compensation for the five hour maintenance period, miHoYo is giving away 300 primogems to all players.

Genshin Impact is one of the biggest free-to-play games in the industry right now with more than 21.3 million players across the globe.
