Square Enix has announced the next expansion pack for its MMORPG, Final Fantasy 14.

This new expansion pack will be coming in “Fall 2021” and will feature two new jobs.

The first of these two jobs is the Sage. It is a healer class that requires no other classes to play it. However, you must have at least one character reach level 70.

The second job has not been revealed, but is said to be a melee DPS class. This class will be revealed at the Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Festival 2021, scheduled from 14 to 15 May 2021.

This expansion will also take players to the moon. Literally.

Additionally, Endwalker will conclude the story that began with A Realm Reborn. Square said that beginning with Patch 6.1, FF14 will have a new story.

The expansion also raises the level cap to 90 and will feature “massive new areas” to be explored.

We are also getting the chance to fight Anima from Final Fantasy X. The creature’s design was recreated by its original creator.

Additionally, players will also get access to a high-difficulty raid called Pandemonium, along with a new Alliance Raid series. It was also revealed that FF14 is coming to the PS5 on 13 April 2021 in Open Beta. This version will be optimized for the console.
