Good news Nintendo fans! Nintendo has announced that there will be a Nintendo Direct happening later today.

The event will go live at 2:00 p.m PT, that is 3 a.m local time for anyone streaming the event from Maldives.

This Nintendo Direct is going to be 50 minutes long and Nintendo will focus on games available on the Nintendo Switch console such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and games coming to the Switch system in the first half of this year.

Could this mean we are possibly getting another Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character or perhaps some information on Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2?

Some fans are also hoping for Bayonetta 3 to be announced as well.

Nintendo fans and gaming community in general are very much looking forward to this event as this is the first Nintendo Direct since September 4th 2019.
