New details about a rumored “upgraded” version of the Nintendo Switch have been revealed.
The original story was first reported by Bloomberg, which went on to state that the new version would come out in 2021. At the time, the publication was light on the details, but not anymore.
The new version of the Switch will reportedly have an OLED screen made by Samsung. It will be 7 inches across, compared to the current models, which are 6.2 and 5.5 inches. It will also feature 720p resolution.
The most notable feature is that this upgraded Switch can output visuals at 4K resolution when connected to the TV.
This new version will reportedly come out “for the holidays”, so around November or December, probably.
