Pokemon Go developer Niantic has once again teamed up with Nintendo for another mobile game.

The plan is to make games using Niantic’s AR technology and Nintendo’s beloved characters.

The first game being developed is a Pikmin game.

The game is reportedly designed to encourage walking and to make it more fun.

Nintendo’s Representative Director, Shigeru Miyamoto said that Niantic’s AR technology allows us to experience a world as if Pikmin were living all around us.

The app will be released globally late 2021 by Niantic.

This will be the first game developed by Niantic Tokyo Studio, which was established in April 2018.
