Nintendo: Bayonetta 3 Still Progressing Despite E3 No Show

Nintendo has confirmed that despite not being showcased at all at E3 2021, development of Bayonetta 3 is still progressing.

In an interview with GameSpot, Nintendo representatives Nate Bihldorff and Bill Trinen said that the game is still on its way and that it was “progressing well”.

Bayonetta 3 was announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive with this trailer back in 2017. Since then, Nintendo has not mentioned the game much at all.

Since then, the game’s director Hideki Kamiya has taken to Twitter to express frustrations regarding speculation online that the game isn’t being worked on or will never come out.

So far, all we know is that it is being worked on, which is not a lot to go on. Time will tell whether the game will come out or in what quality it will be when it does.
