E2S has announced a new PUBG event called RGC x 187 Crew Challenge 2021.
According to E2S, this is the second season of the event. The first season was a great success 2 months ago with 185 teams taking part. This success, along with high player demand, has led to the announcement of a second season.
This second season is sponsored by Ooredoo and there is a prize pool of MVR 10,000 up for grabs. The prize pool is being divided amongst the top 5 teams.
Speaking of the format of the tournament, E2S stated that participants must have teams of 4 with room for 2 extra players as substitutes. The participating teams will be playing in the official competitive tournament format with 2 rounds of the group stage, followed by a semi final stage made up of the top 32 teams, and a grand final stage for the top 16 teams.
The platform for this tournament is mobile and all players must be playing on one to qualify. Additionally, local teams can only include a maximum of two foreign players and foreign teams can only consist of players from South Asia.
E2S went on to state that the tournament would begin after the group stages of PMCO. This puts the start date at about 20 August.
Registrations are now open and will stay open until 15 August 2021. So if you want a crack at that prize pool, grab a minimum of 3 friends and go register here!
