Xbox Cloud Streaming on Consoles to Bring Series X Games to Xbox One

Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service is coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One this holiday season, allowing players on Xbox One to play Series S/X games via the cloud.

Although the feature will not be available at the service’s launch, it will be coming soon. This will allow Xbox One owners to play Xbox S/X exclusive games such as the highly rated Microsoft Flight Simulator via streaming.

Testing for this feature of the service will come to the Xbox Insider program this fall, before the service is rolled out later this year.

Games played through the service like this will reportedly be available at 1080p resolution and 60fps.

The news was announced on Xbox’s 2021 Gamescom stream.
