Nintendo has permanently lowered the price of the base model of the Nintendo Switch across Europe.

According to the official Nintendo website, the base model of the Switch used to be listed in the UK as GBP 279.99 and as GBP 329.99 across Europe.

However, the price has now been permanently lowered to GBP 259.99 in the UK and GBP 299.99 across Europe. 

Analysts predict that the US might see a similar price drop, but that is just speculation at this point.

This price reduction comes hot on the heels of a number of UK stores receiving further pre-order stock for the Nintendo Switch (OLED).

With the drop in price, now might be a great time to invest in a Nintendo Switch.
