The Tokyo Game Show 2021 is set to kick-off this Thursday, 30 September 2021
Much like E3 2021 and Gamescom 2021 before it, TGS 2021 is also going to be an all digital event.
The event is set to run through 4 days and will feature 44 presentations.
Let us look at some of programs that we’ll be seeing at this event!
Xbox
According to a blog post on Xbox Wire, the show will mostly targeted at the players in Japan and across Asia. There will also be regional updates for previously announced games but there won’t be any new game shown.
Square Enix
On the other hand, Sqaure Enix announced a lineup of games it will be showcasing.
The CHAOS-filled game announced at E3 this year, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, is making its return.
As for other games… here’s the full lineup:
- Forspoken
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
- Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
- War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
- Chocobo GP
- Voice of Cards – The Isle Dragon Roars
- Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier
- Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
- Triangle Strategy
- Dragon Quest X
- Final Fantasy XIV
miHoYo
The creator of Genshin Impact, miHoYo, is going to show what’s new and coming up in Update 2.2 of their mega successful game.
While more information is always welcome, it is worth noting that miHoYo currently finds itself in the midst of a controversy over their handling of the one year anniversary of Genshin Impact. You can read about the ongoing situation here.
