
Mobile eSports Open or MEO is back for its fourth season this year and registrations are now open.
Organized by E2S and sponsored by Red Bull, MEO is an international tournament with more than 60,000 players participating worldwide. The game of choice is PUBG Mobile.
The Maldives first took part one year ago in MEO Season 3, but is now coming back to take on season 4.
In terms of season 4, E2S stated that players can register and take part in teams of four. They also added that the local chapter of this particular tournament is open to Maldivians aged 16 and above only.
There is a prize pool of MVR 30,000 to be divided amongst the top 5 teams.
The champion team will get to represent the Maldives in the South Asian regional finals.
E2S also stated that viewers and players will receive additional prizes and goodies from Red Bull and others.
The registration opened on 5 October and will continue until 20 October.
The tournament itself begins on 22 October and will go on until 15 November.
