Elden Ring Delayed To February

The successor to Dark Souls franchise, Elden Ring has been delayed till February 25, 2022. Originally Elden Ring was supposed to come out on January 21st next year.

This is not a big delay as the game has been pushed back just one month. Explaining the delay, developers said “The depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience.”

Bandai Namco also announced a closed network test for Elden Ring from November 12-15, for three hours each day. This network test is only eligible to console players.

Here are the application requirements:

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • You must own a PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox series X|S and have an internet connection.
  • Be able to actively participate in testing and report any bugs.
  • You agree to the terms of use for the ELDEN RING network test version.
  • To cooperate with the questionnaire after the test.

The network test will take place simultaneously across all PS4, PS5 and Xbox One and Xbox series X|S consoles. Here is the registration link for the network test.
