The anime crossover fighting game known as Jump Force will be shutting down next year.
The game will be delisted from digital storefronts on 7 February 2022 and the game’s servers will go offline on 24 August 2022.
Bandai Namco stated that all content related to the game, including DLC, will become unavailable starting next year.
When the servers go down, players will not be able to enter the multiplayer lobby, play ranked matches, access clan functions, view notices or leaderboards, or get rewards from the reward counter.
The game’s in-game store will also no longer function, going offline on 1 August 2022.
The game’s offline content will still be available after the deadline if you’ve purchased it.
Interestingly, players can continue to play online matches after this. However, these matches won’t be ranked.
It’s sad to see Jump Force go. Though it wasn’t particularly impactful to us at Emmen Gaming, we did appreciate a game where Aizen from Bleach could fight Blackbeard from One Piece.
We send our condolences to the fans of the game.
