Ooredoo Maldives has announced a partnership with local e-sports center, the Game Room.
According to a statement released by Ooredoo Maldives, it said that the company is committed to providing seamless connectivity to power gaming and connecting the gamers to new opportunities to showcase their talents to the world.
Ooredoo Maldives went on to state that e-sports has been rapidly gaining more prominence globally over the past few years, adding that local gaming has also continued to grow.
It then stated that it would work to support this growing need of customers.
This initiative is just one of the steps Ooredoo Maldives has taken to aid local gaming.
It also offers weekly and monthly gaming packs with dedicated data for popular games such as PUBG, Mobile Legends, Roblox, Garena Free Fire, and Call of Duty.
Ooredoo Maldives went on to state that it has invested heavily in strengthening its digital infrastructure to provide even faster speeds with reduced latency to create seamless connectivity to its customers.
The Game Room is a local state-of-the-art e-sports center that brings its customers a wide range of innovative and fun social gaming experiences. It also hosts tournaments and leagues where local gamers can compete for prizes.
