The new PlayStation Plus subscription is going to go live in just a few weeks.

There are quite a few PlayStation gamers here at Emmen Gaming and we are very much looking forward to the release.

Monthly Games

In any of the tiers that you choose, you will get the same benefits as the current PS Plus. Monthly games for June is not announced yet.

Classical Games Catalog

The classic games are only available for PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe tier members.

Some of the titles that will have improved frame rates and higher-quality resolution compared to their original launch versions.

Some other PlayStation and PSP games will get a new user interface with menus that allow you to save your game at any time or even rewind the game if you want a do-over. 

Also, players who have previously purchased the digital version of select games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will not have to make a separate purchase or sign up to PlayStation Plus to play these titles on PS4 or PS5.

Time-Limited Game Trials 

Players are able to try selected games before they buy them. After downloading a trial of the full game, you can play it for two hours for most games – the playtime counter only counts while you are in the game.

This is only for the PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe Plan.

New Games

The game catalog will refresh and evolve over time.

The monthly reset will occur every first Tuesday of the month for PS Plus Essential, and new PS4 and PS5 games added to the service same as the current subscription model.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe will get an additional monthly refresh which will occur in the middle of each month with new games. The number of games refreshed will vary per month.

Additionally, access to Ubisoft+ Classics games is a benefit for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members with no additional cost.

Ubisoft+

Beginning on May 24th, Ubisoft is launch a new Ubisoft+ subscription for PlayStation Plus called Ubisoft+ Classics. Ubisoft+ Classics will include games from Ubisoft.

This is currently available on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna and offers players day-one releases, classic games, and premium editions.

Ubisoft+ Classics catalogue for PlayStation Plus will launch with 27 titles and will grow to 50 by the end of 2022.
