Genshin Impact is hosting the “A Muddy Bizarre Adventure” Event this week.

The event is set to begin on June 22, 2022 and will go on until July 4, 2022.

The mine cleanup event looks to be really fun and has some nice rewards at the end.

So let’s go over what it’s about and what it’s offering players.

Eligibility

There are some conditions players have to meet to become eligible for this event. They are as follows.

Firstly, you have to be of Adventure Rank 28 or above. 

After that, you need to have completed the “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering” World Quest to unlock the Underground Mines of The Chasm.

Also you should obtain the Lumenstone Adjuvant in the World Quest “Chasm Spelunkers” and upgrade it to Level 2.

Event Details

From the first day of the event, the corresponding quests will be unlocked every day. The newly unlocked quest cannot be picked up until the previous day’s quest has been completed.

During the cleanup, the dangerous dark mud that continues to ooze out will buff nearby enemies which will increase their ATK and DEF greatly. When these monsters are in areas covered by the dark mud, their abilities will be further increased.

Monsters will constantly interfere with your cleanup work and the surrounding area will flood over with dark mud. You should equip the Lumenstone Adjuvant and use the Blooming Light to clear the dark mud and weaken the monsters to further the cleaning process.

As you continue to clean, the difficulty of cleaning dark mud will gradually increase. You can search for more Lumenspar in The Chasm: Underground Mines, and strengthen the Lumenstone Adjuvant to a higher level.

Teleportation Quest

You have to defend the activated Pursina Spikes from the monsters that will come to attack it.

Enemies will be buffed by dark mud:

Dark Mud will ooze throughout the test, requiring players to clear them with the Lumenstone Adjuvant in order to better face the enemies. As mentioned before, the enemies that come in contact with the dark mud will get an increase in their ATK and DEF.

Charge Your Lumenstone Adjuvant Before Starting The Challenge

While you can easily charge by interacting with the light contraptions around the area, it would be more efficient to start with a fully charged Lumenstone Adjuvant.

Defeat Opponents After Clearing The Mud

To swiftly defeat all of the opponents, it is recommended to use Lumenstone Adjuvant first then attack the enemies. It is possible to defeat them without clearing the mud but it gives more risk and take double the amount of time because of the strengthened defenses of the enemies.

However you will have to have a enhancement level 2 of Lumenstone Adjuvant.

Automated Charging Challenge

For this challenge, you will need to protect the Pursina Spikes from enemies while it charges. The goal is to keep enemies from interrupting the Pursina Spike so it can complete charging.

However you will have to have a enhancement level 3 of Lumenstone Adjuvant

Circulation Theory

Defeat a number of enemies to be able to clear the way and get access to deeper Ley Line ruptures. For this challenge, you will need to defeat a specific number of enemies and clear Oozing Concentrations on the way.

However you will have to have a enhancement level 4 of Lumenstone Adjuvant.

Emergency Escort

For this part, you will need to escort the Pursina Spike through the Chasm. It will be in a Hot Air Balloon, but enemies will come to pose a threat against it! Make sure to protect it so it can get on its way.

Continued Clean Up

With the help of the Pursina Spike, defeat enemies to further clean the Chasm of the Oozing Mud. The Pursina Spike will not only clear the mud, but will also help in defeating the enemies.

Event Rewards

Completing various songs over the course of the event will yield various rewards. 

Some of what is up on offer includes varying amounts of Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enchantment Ore and Talent Ascension Materials, and Mora.
