Legendary shounen manga (and anime) Dragon Ball is coming to Epic Games’ massively popular online video game, Fortnite.
The announcement was made by the official Fortnite Twitter account with a vague tweet.
The tweet presents an image of a golden dragon with the phrase, “Speak. Name your wish.”
This dragon is none other than Shenron from the Dragon Ball series. He can grant the wish of anyone who collects all seven Dragon Balls.

As of this stage, it is not clear what skins and items will show up in the game. There isn’t much of a predictable pattern for how these things go.
For example, the crossover with Naruto: Shippuden featured Naruto and three other characters from the game as skins. However, the crossover with Marvel’s Moon Knight only brought over the titular character.
The most recent character to be added was famous professional wrestler and movie star, John Cena.
Fortnite has become well-known for adding characters, celebrities, and personalities from a wide range of sources. These can include Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series, Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson from… lots of things, and Star Wars characters.
The crossover is slated for August 16, this year.
We are looking forward to seeing how this beloved manga/anime series is represented in Fortnite.
