The new PUBG Mobile event by Ooredoo Nation and E2S Gaming, the PUBG Maldives Championship Contender Series begins tomorrow.
We previously reported on the series when it was announced. One of the key selling points of the series was the large prize pool of MVR 100,000 which made it possibly the biggest PUBG tournament in the Maldives yet.
After the August 15 deadline for team registration passed, we are now on the cusp of kicking the event off. A total of 63 squads will be fighting for the crown.
As mentioned before, the Ooredoo PUBG Mobile Championship Contender Series 1 is the first PUBG qualifier tournament in a planned series. These qualifier events will take place from August to October 2022.
The top three teams of each qualifier event will then go on to compete in the official qualifier event, scheduled for November 2022.
