The first round of Ooredoo Nation and E2S Gaming’s PUBG Maldives Contender Series has come to a close.
According to E2S, a total of 32 teams qualified into the semi finals of the tournament.
These 32 teams will play another round of 4 matches to find out the 16 best teams, who will then go on to compete in the finals of the series to earn a spot in the grand finals to be held in November, 2022.

As mentioned before, the Ooredoo PUBG Mobile Championship Contender Series 1 is the first PUBG qualifier tournament in a planned series. These qualifier events are currently taking place from August to October 2022.
