Hotta Studio’s free-to-play action RPG gacha game, Tower of Fantasy has introduced a new playable character.

Introduced on September 1 (that’s today), the character in question is Frigg. 

Frigg was previously seen as an antagonist and occasional boss enemy in the main story of the game. At present, she is a member of the group known as the Heirs of Aida.

Her reveal describes her as “a quiet and decisive soldier who carries out orders quickly and cleanly.” The graphic goes on to reveal that “Frigg has her own views on life and ponders the meaning of it when she is not busy eliminating enemies or carrying out Sage’s orders.” 

So she’s a thinker AND a fighter, on top of being a dual katana-wielder.

In terms of weapons and abilities, Frigg is an Ice element DPS character who uses two katanas. Her moves are fast and stylish. There’s one that even looks a bit like Judgment Cut End used by Vergil from the Devil May Cry series!

Her weapon also comes with a freezing effect that you can capitalize on by breaking the ice shell.

Frigg is the first new character to drop for Tower of Fantasy since its western release of August 10, 2022.

We look forward to (hopefully) obtaining Frigg and giving her weapon a try. So far, it looks really cool and is strong to boot.
