PUBG Championship Contender Series 2 Qualifiers Starts

Ooredoo Maldives PUBG Championship Contender Series 2 has started yesterday.

This is the second PUBG Mobile qualifier tournament that is being held as part of this series. This qualifier tournament is one of the four qualifier events leading up to the grand finale in December 2022. 

According to Ooredoo Nation, a total of whopping 89 teams are participating in this tournament. This tournament may possibly be one of the biggest e-sports tournament in Maldives.

The group stages will take across 5 days (September 25 – September 29). Each day there will be a total of 4 matches played (2 in Erangel, 1 in Miramar and 1 in Sanhok) and the matches starts at 8pm (GMT+5). The schedule is as follows:

Group 2 – September 25th
Group 3 – September 26th
Group 4 – September 27th
Group 5 – September 28th
Group 1 – September 29th

The commentator for this tournament would be the same one as Series 1, Mohamed “Raikko” Rayyan. He did a fantastic job at commentary in Series 1 and we are hoping to see more of it in Series 2.

Ooredoo has also announced a new promotion in celebration of Series 2 tournament.
