Six local teams are going to participate in the Fall Split of the annual PUBG Mobile Club Open event.
The teams are 187 ESports, RGC Deno, Somz ESports, RGC Opex, VALesMO, and Soz ESports.
These teams are notable for being participants in the Spring Split of PUBG Mobile Club Open, earlier this year. Seven Maldivian teams took part in the event back then and now, six of them are returning to this one.
PUBG Mobile Club Open is hosted by Tencent Gaming, who host the largest PUBG tournaments in the world every year. This is an international tournament.
The tournament is held annually and is split into two parts; the Spring Split and the Fall Split.
The Spring Split took place from January to April, earlier this year. As mentioned before, 7 Maldvian teams qualified for the tournament. Their combined winnings were over USD 10,000.
And now, six of the teams that made it to the finals in the Spring Split are coming back for the Fall Split by invitation.
The Fall Split will take place from August to October. The local teams are starting in the South Asian region but may face players from more regions if they qualify on. There is a prize pool of USD 700,000 to be split amongst the winners.
All the matches of the tournament will be livestreamed from the PUBG Mobile YouTube channel and Facebook page.
We at Emmen Gaming wish all the teams the very best in the PUBG Mobile Club Open.
The local esports scene has been very active recently with multiple tournaments for multiple games being organized by different groups. The benefit this has had on local gamers is clear.
