Wizards of the Coast has announced the release date for the upcoming third-person action roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance.

The game is slated to come out on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC June 22, 2021.

The game is being developed by Tuque Games and is the third game in the Dark Alliance series. It is a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance I and II.

The game is set in the tundra region of Icewind Dale and features characters from R. A. Salvatore’s novel series, the Legend of Drizzt, Drizzt Do’Urden, Catti-Brie, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Wulfgar.

The game is currently available for preorder at select retailers for USD 39.99 and there are plans for a digital deluxe edition for USD 59.99 which will also include the upcoming ‘Echoes of the Blood War’ and the Lich weapon set.

Additionally, all preorders will get an exclusive in-game Beholder weapon set at launch.
